Complementary and alternative healing practices have been around for centuries because they are successful in treating body, mind, and spirit. LifeForce Yoga for Mood and Anxiety Regulation
LifeForce Yoga is intentionally designed to work with and regulate emotions

level, and support healing. Many of the yoga techniques can be done in a
chair, in bed, and do not require a yoga mat. LifeForce Yoga is accessible

iRest Yoga Nidra
Integrative Restoration or iRest Yoga Nidra has been developed over the past 26 years by Dr. Richard Miller, a clinical psychologist, yogic scholar, and founder of the Integrative Restoration Institute. iRest is uniquely suitable for a Western audience. iRest heals the various unresolved issues, traumas, and wounds that are present in the body and mind. It is restorative in that it aids its practitioners in recognizing their underlying peace of mind that is always present amidst all changing circumstances of life. Extensive research has shown that iRest Yoga Nidra effectively supports the healing process across a broad range of populations. People using iRest report:

iRest programs are typically taught to individuals and groups as a guided meditation. Currently, there are iRest programs in military hospitals across the U.S., as well as in clinics, schools, hospitals, correctional facilities, and organizations supporting personal growth and well-being. In June 2010 iRest was endorsed by the U.S. Army Surgeon General and Defense Centers of Excellence as a CAM or complementary and alternative medicine.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words. Rei means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki is "life force energy." So Reiki is "spiritually guided life force energy." Reiki is a simple, natural, and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. Reiki treats the whole person, including body, emotions, and spirit, creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security, and well being. For most people treatment feels relaxing and often like a wonderful glowing radiance is flowing through and around you. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical and therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery. Many hospitals throughout the United States and Canada have Reiki practitioners on their hospital and hospice staffs.
LifeForce Yoga and iRest are effective practices to introduce to your

corporation, agency, or small business. These practices are as suitable for
the boardroom as they are for the yoga room. LifeForce Yoga and iRest can

Dr. Ana is a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level and received her training at Three Trees Yoga in Federal Way, WA. She is also a Level II or advanced LifeForce Yoga Practitioner through the LifeForce Healing Institute and an iRest teacher in training with the Integrative Restoration Institute. In addition, she is a student of Salvatore Zambito of the Yoga Sutras Institute.
